Pecard Leather Boot & Shoe Oil

Great leather product for my Rocky boots. Also used for conditioning my new leather pistol holster. I finally ran out of Pecard's. I had a large can that my father had purchased in the 60's.

I’ve been treating my leather goods (shoes, jackets, briefcases, folders, etc.)with Pecard for 40 years to nourish, protect, restore, waterproof, soften, and extend life. It’s magic!

Softens, resists water, and gives a great appearance with very minimal work. I have used it for years and frequently recommend it.

I'm an orchardist and am outside all year long. I use this boot oil on my work boots. Hard to find.

Best boot oil I've ever used. Used on my whites smoke jumper boots all the time. Used on baseball gloves, leather vest. Love this stuff. I prefer the oil not the grease.

My Dad had a farm supply Business in upstate NY , Back in the 60's/ 70's and one He's products he carried was Pecard boot oil. Every time when one of us kids would get a pear of work boots or a Leather item he would give us a can of Pecard Boot Oil . And at that time it came in a metal can. It worked awesome then and still works awesome today.( when we were kids we call it Duck oil). Thanks Pecard !DW, Jr

I’ve used this oil for years and have always been happy with the results. The boot leather stays soft, repels water , and rarely changes color.

Pretty slick, show a gallon container but product is an 8 oz bottle. My fault for not thoroughly reading post. But you should be putting photo of what you are actually selling.

Cleaned my boots as the directions with the oil said and then added the oil with a cloth and brush to the whole boot 4-5 times, I had not treated my boots since I got them which was coming close to a year. This product did a wonderful job making my boots look new again, waterproofing, and cleaning the overall appearance of the boot up.

I used this on my dress shoes, motorcycle jacket, and car seats. Follow directions to put it on a cloth to apply properly.

Pecard and Red Wing continue to make non-petroleum boot oils, at least in the North America footprint. I dare you to try to find the Red Wing product, and if you do, it will vastly exceed Pecard product's price point per unit volume. Using non-petroleum boot oil is essential if you want leather to breathe and age naturally (don't take my word, ask your cobbler). Thus, Pecard boot oil is the cat's meow in these regards. Handling and delivery met current expectations. This purchase unit will last me over 10 years on 2 pairs of boots that need it.

Great boot oil, been using it for years. Also works well on old leather belts and old cartridges belts.

I bought this product based on a friend recommendation as this did repel water and snow to product my work shoes this summer. It did make the brown leather on my shoes a few shades darker after the application but worked amazing well.

Picard oil definitely softens dry leather.

I use this for Horween chromexcel and aniline leather shoes and belts, where the leather is not highly polished or nappy. It makes the leather soft and waterproof. It slightly darkens the color but this is a good trade-off for me. I treat shoes to wear them in all seasons and conditions and belts to soften the leather, even out the color, and erase the marks made by cell phone cases. Goes on very easily, lasts for months. 8 oz will keep you supplied for several years.

This stuff is amazing. I put my leather out in the hot sun for an hour or so, then liberally apply this on all the seams. Then use the excess plus more on the flats. During a single treatment the leather will typically absorb the oil quickly at first, but will eventually reach a saturation point as you continue to apply more. I typically apply enough until the leather reaches that point, let it soak overnight, and wipe away any excess the next day. For neglected leather I use this, followed by pecard's leather dressing a week or so afterwards. Alternately, Hubbard's and Obenauf oils are also both excellent.

Really works well on keeping husbands work boots in good shape.

Outstanding shoe and boot oil. Well-suited for penetrating the seams of footwear where Pecard's leather dressing is more difficult to apply. Flows well, and is a lighter oil than Huberd's shoe oil, for example. I use it on all of my dress shoes here in the PNW and it has served me well.
