Tyler Angelos is the CEO of Angelus Brand, a fifth-generation family business with a nearly 120-year legacy. As the grandson of longtime owner Paul Angelos, Tyler has spent his career modernizing and expanding that legacy across e-commerce, product innovation, and creative brand building.

Across Angelus Direct, Lace Lab, and Pecard Leather Care, he has transformed niche ideas into industry-leading brands in sneaker customization, leather care, and accessories, serving customers worldwide with trusted, high-quality products. What began in 1907 as a shoe-polish company is today the go-to name for artists, customizers, and sneakerheads.

With over a decade of hands-on experience, Tyler has built and scaled multiple successful ventures by combining expertise in manufacturing, logistics, and product development with a sharp creative vision and digital-first execution. His approach is rooted in long-term thinking, craftsmanship, and a genuine understanding of what customers actually want.

The Journey

Tradition Meets Modern Execution

When Tyler took Pecard Leather Care online, the website was outdated and the product was scattered across the market. He rebuilt the ecommerce presence from scratch, handling the website design, product photography, and content himself, and quickly gave the legacy brand a stronger organic search presence.

That early bet on SEO and organic content reshaped how customers discovered Pecard online, turning a heritage leather care company into a stronger direct-to-consumer store for customers, collectors, and businesses looking for trusted leather conditioners, cleaners, dressings, and restoration products.

Tyler’s path wasn’t conventional. Before joining the family business full-time, he graduated from the Rio Hondo Fire Academy, became an EMT and reserve firefighter, and worked nights for seven years. A career-ending shoulder injury redirected his energy entirely into Angelus, a pivot he turned into a generational opportunity.
